Call for Applications: Empanelment of Researchers for National-Level Monitoring

The Institute invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for empanelment in its pool of researchers to undertake National Level Monitoring (NLM) of flagship rural development programmes, sponsored by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India.

Eligibility Criteria:

A Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, or a related discipline from a recognized university.

Prior experience in fieldwork related to monitoring, evaluation, or implementation of rural development programmes will be considered an added advantage.

Nature of Engagement:

This is an assignment-based engagement. Researchers empanelled in the pool will be allocated monitoring assignments as and when required by the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) and routed through the Institute.

This engagement will be purely on a temporary basis to conduct the aforesaid study in 11 districts of Uttar Pradesh (Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Varanasi, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Sonebhadra, Mirzapur, Amethi and Sultanpur) on the basis of prescribed guidelines of Mid Day Meal Authority, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh.

The candidates who have been shortlisted for the written test for the post of Section Officer, Library Assistant and Library Attendant against the Advertisement No. GBPSSI/Estt./Rect./01-2023, dated 07.06.2023, through scrutiny of their applications, are hereby informed that the Written Examination for selection to these posts will be held tentatively on 26th November, 2023 (Sunday) for which hall tickets will be sent to their respective email ids only in due course.

The candidates shall be called for the documents verification on 30th November, 2023 (Thursday) on the basis of their performance in the written test. Final merit will be made as per clause no. XXVIII/XXIX of General Instruction of the Advertisement No. GBPSSI/Estt./Rect./01-2023, dated 07.06.2023.

The candidates shall have to undergo a Written test of 2 hours. The written test comprises of 100 MCQ of 100 marks. The test components are as follows:
