Ph.D. ADMISSION NOTICE
Ph.D. Admission 2025-26 (JRF, NET & Ph.D. Only Qualified)
All the Applicants who have applied for Ph.D. admissions 2025-26 in G. B. Pant Social Science Institute are to notified that the interview for the shortlisted candidates is scheduled to be held on 25 May 2026 from 10:00 AM onwards in the Institute.
The Institute is in process of admission of Ph.D. session 2025-26 for 02 seats. Students desirous of seeking admission to the Ph.D. Programme (2025–26) are required to register on or before 09 January 2026. Admission shall be considered only for candidates who have registered through the University of Allahabad registration process. Candidates qualified in NET, JRF, Ph.D., and other exempted categories are eligible to apply.
Candidates are required to present their Ph.D. synopsis before the panel, which will be followed by an interview. Applicants from any of the Social Science subjects are eligible to apply.
For registration, candidates may download the Application Form from the Institute’s website (www.gbpssi.in) and submit the duly filled registration form along with the Ph.D. synopsis and all required documents (Class 10th, 12th, UG, PG, NET/JRF certificate and score card, if applicable, and University of Allahabad registration/eligibility documents, NOC for exempted candidates in proper format mentioned in Clause No. 3.1 Ph.D. Admission- 2025 Brochure)to the Academic Section, Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM only in packed envelop.
The date of interview will be notified on the Institute’s website in due course.
