Dr. Subhash Kumar is an Assistant Professor of Development Economics in G. B. Pant Social Science Institute, Prayagraj. He has done his graduation from Dyal Singh College, University of Delhi. He attained his Master’s degree M. A. in Development Studies from Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD). He obtained his M.Phil and Ph.D. degree from Centre for Studies in Science Policy (CSSP), School of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi.
He has taught in various colleges before joining the institute like Cluster Innovation Center (CIC), Satyawati College, Lakshmibai College, Motilal Nehru College and Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) University of Delhi for four years. He has mentored various semester long projects (B. A. Hons and B.Tech Students) in Cluster Innovation Center, University of Delhi.
His research area varies from Growth and Development Economics, Indian Economy, Public Economics, Science Technology and Innovation Policy (STI), Skill Development, Economics of Education, Research Methodology, Socio-economic Development of Weaker Sections and Public Policy etc.
