Dr. Chandraiah Gopani is an Associate Professor in G.B.Pant Social Science Institute. He obtained his M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in the discipline of Political Science from University of Hyderabad. His areas of research interest; critical theory, Caste, Dalit Studies, Intellectual Traditions, Literature, Youth, Education, Gender and Political economy of Development etc. His research work documents and critically analyse the caste, class, gender, regional dynamics and complexities of the domination and subaltern resistance. Gopani has been doing extensive filed work in South India in general and Telugu region in specific. He regularly contributes to the reputed academic Journals and popular magazines, newspapers and online platforms both in English and Telugu.
