G B Pant Social Science Institute offers M.Phil. (Development Studies)-D.Phil. Integrated Programme. For admission in the course, students are required to take the Combined Research Entrance Test (CRET) of the University of Allahabad in any of the Social Sciences subjects including Anthropology, Ancient History, Behavioral and Cognitive Sciences, Business Administration (MBA), Commerce, Defence, Economics, Education, Gandhian Studies, Geography, Globalisation and Development Studies, Medieval and Modern History, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology. The last date for submission of online form is May 30, 2018. Relevant information is available on the website https://www.auadmissions.com/CRET2018 and http://gbpssi.in. Those JRF of the UGC in any of the social science subjects are also required to register in CRET (Exempted from Level I and II test but they have to appear in Level III). Those desirous of admission in the M.Phil. programme must contact Institute within one month of announcement of the CRET results.
